BGD&C Honored With National Awards

BGD&C CUSTOM HOMES HONORED WITH TWO PRESTIGIOUS NATIONAL BEST IN AMERICAN LIVING AWARDS FROM THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF HOME BUILDERS

Founded in 1942, the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) is one of the largest trade associations in the United States with over 140,000 members and 800 state and local chapters.

In 1944, the NAHB held its first annual convention and exposition, later becoming the International Builders Show (IBS). The show is one of the largest conventions in the country, and attracts home building professionals from around the globe. This year IBS was held in Orlando and was attended by over 60,000 people, including BGD&C team members.

Each year at IBS, NAHB holds industry recognition awards for home builders across the country. These industry awards, called the “Best In American Living Awards” (BALA), recognize the very best homes built in the United States

BGD&C was excited to attend the 2017 BALA Awards ceremony last week, where they were honored with two prestigious awards for their Lincoln Park Transitional Home project. This 12,000-square-foot, single-family custom home boasts classical, French-style architecture, with a limestone façade, and lavish gardens that fit perfectly into the vernacular of Lincoln Park. BGD&C was proud to receive the Platinum Award for One-of-a-Kind Custom Home over 8,000 sft as well as Best in Region – Midwest for One-of-a-Kind Custom Home over 8,000 sft

BALA Really is the best of the best.

– Ken Boynton, Design Committee Chair

We are extremely proud to receive these prestigious awards. I feel they are a true testament to BGD&C’s dedication to designing and building the very best custom homes for our clients.
