The clients of our Lincoln Park Transitional Home dreamed of a fun family space so we designed an underground pool with an adjoining yoga/exercise room (visible through the operable ipe custom shutters!) complete with locker rooms and spa. This indoor pool provided the perfect space for them to stay active and spend time together as a family year round.
Special highlights include: Bateig blue limestone floors, backlit agate wall panels, Ipe slatted wall panels, split chiseled Pompeii stone walls and glazed terra-cotta tile on the ceiling.

The client of our Lincoln Park Venetian Home wanted to incorporate a luxury spa and swimming pool for the kids on the lower level of the home. This required deep excavation and shoring to get substantial ceiling height, as well as a solution to bring bright natural light into the underground space. BGD&C Custom Homes built custom glass obelisks in the gardens which provided an interesting accent at the plaza level while also allowing direct sunlight into the pool area.
